| He holds a BA(Hons) degree
in English and Film Studies and an MA in Philosophy and
Religious Studies, as well as professional qualifications
in journalism and public relations.
His research into the relationship between religion
and the news media has been published and cited in academic
publications, and his sports history books have been used by students of 20th century
social history.
He has also, by invitation, contributed entries to
the forthcoming Encyclopaedia of Wales.
