Torquay women continue winning ways

With the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, Torquay United's women started the year with another win yesterday (Sunday 11 January) to boost their promotion campaign.

In windy conditions at Devon FA's headquarters in Coach Road, Newton Abbot, United beat AEK Boco 5-1, thanks to goals from Roxy Thomas, Jess Geach, Tee Kaptein, Connie Pengelly, and Lily Hilton.

Torquay's women play in the South West Women's Regional League Premier Division, the fifth tier of women's soccer in England, and are aiming for promotion back to the FA National League.

This season, we are supporting the women's team as shorts sponsor as well as being the long-time sponsor of Danni Wyatt.
