Meet the team

  • Andy Weltch Senior Consultant

He manages most of our projects, providing leadership and hands-on expertise in editorial services, public relations, and training. He has written books and produced films. His interests include sport, film, theatre, and running (slowly). He is also concerned with housing and homelessness and was a voluntary trustee at the people and homes charity Shelter Cymru for many years.

  • Weltch Media helped to significantly increase the profile of recreational cricket through the traditional local press and on-line media. The service provided by Andy and his team is first class as are their connections with a wide breadth of local media outlets.

Peter Hybart Cricket Wales - Chief Executive Officer
  • Weltch Media supported our film by publicizing it on all of the major outlets, allowing us to get a maximum reach before our very important premiere at Fantastic Fest. Top notch, all of the way.

Mike Gasaway Writer & Director - Help Me First!
  • Weltch Media helped us to build our profile at an important time of expansion for the firm. They quickly gained an understanding of our work, and identified and generated news to tell our stories to our target audience through conventional print, online and social media. We were very impressed by their professionalism, their range of services and the excellent value.

Stephen Clarke Senior Partner - CJCH Solicitors
  • Weltch Media really understands what we are all about and they communicate our messages in a clear and attractive way that has generated interest in both old and new media. They have been a huge help in establishing our presence in the market, and I have continued to be amazed by Weltch Media’s follow-up service, ensuring that we were involved at every stage. They go that extra mile. I have nothing but praise for this agency which consists of a group of highly educated, intelligent, competent, professional, and very funny people (they make me miss Britain, and British comedy ... a lot!). Weltch Media is based in the UK, but distance has not mattered for us  -  Andy and his team have been in touch with me here in Manhattan, New York around the clock, when needed.

Golbarg Bashi CEO - Dr Bashi
  • Weltch Media has been an enthusiastic supporter of Cops and Monsters, and has helped raise the profile of our web series, which has been vital to its success. Andrew Weltch has even shown a surprising talent as a voice actor!

Fraser Coull Executive Producer & Creator - Cops & Monsters
  • I can honestly say that Tennis Wales has never had so much positive media coverage. This has often needed to be done with a very quick turnaround time at very short notice, and Weltch Media has never failed to deliver quality results when needed. I'm sure it is no coincidence that the current surge in tennis participation in Wales is partly as a result of the fantastic media promotion of tennis that we have achieved through Weltch Media. The fees are very reasonable, and have given us a tremendous return on our investment.

Peter Drew Chief Executive Officer - Tennis Wales
  • Weltch Media has provided us with a faultless PR service for a few years now. In that time Andy and his team have worked above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my releases are in the widest range of media possible, not only newspapers, but making sure that I have a presence on social media sites and many other websites. Releases are always speedily delivered and well put together. Andy has a wide knowledge of motorsport and knows how to deliver my news (good or bad) in an interesting way to suit a wide audience.  I have received nothing but positive comments and prospects due to their services.

Ben Power Racing Driver - Guttercrest Racing

This knowledge and expertise also enables Weltch Media to provide valuable strategic input, when required.

Catherine Marks Swansea University - Director of Marketing, Internationalisation and Development

Andy Weltch has been involved in motor sport for many years and has a profound understanding of how to present the sport in a way which appeals to the media. We will certainly turn to Weltch Media again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

    Crispen Rosevear Autospeed - Director
  • Working with the folks at Weltch Media has been a pleasure. We commissioned them to event manage our presence at the Tafwyl Festival, and from start to finish it was stress-free, professional, thorough – and even a laugh! We will definitely use their services again.

Helen Beddow Cardiff University – Deputy Head of Marketing
  • Andy and the team provided an exceptional standard of content for our new website … providing a reliable (and always cheery) service even through the trying circumstances of lockdown.
