British TV channel Talking Pictures has marked five years on air with a growing audience and an increasing reputation for its high quality mix of content.

In a new post on our companion arts and entertainment blog, Piece of Pink Pie, our senior consultant Andrew Weltch suggests it has found the ‘perfect nostalgic formula’ by including rarely seen, low-budget B-movies, as well as more mainstream films.

By screening TV programmes and even repackaged home movies too, it has provided comfort to many during lockdown, but has been hit by a fall in advertising revenue.
