The cast and crew of our upcoming animated short film got together online today (Monday 28 April) to discuss the project, which is now in preproduction.
It was a chance for everyone to meet, and to discuss the script and the production process, which will soon be underway.
The meeting involved the voice actors, Robert Daws, Francesca Louise White, Samantha Hudson, and Richard Oliver, with director and animator Matthew Creed, sound designer and composer Charlie Diggle, and writer-producer Andy Weltch.
A Fish Out of Water is a Victorian fantasy-drama, described as “a tale of the fantastical and bizarre”. The script is by Andy with Robert Lancey, adapted from Andy’s original story, featuring the journalist, Henry Godliman (played by Robert Daws).
It shows us what happens when Godliman arrives in a small West Country fishing port in the 1890s to hear from three sailors about their strange experiences at sea.
The film is now listed on IMDb, where more updates will be added soon.
