A hard-hitting play about homelessness and addiction is back on tour in the UK.
Our award-winning local news site Rhiwbina Info was at last night's (2 October) performance of Myra's Story at the New Theatre, Cardiff.
It's a remarkable one-woman show, and Fionna Hewitt-Twamley earned a standing ovation for her performance.

Reviewer Andy Weltch described it as "a fast-paced monologue, in which Myra (an absolutely stunning performance by Fiona Hewitt-Twamley playing every role) shares her life story to explain how she ended up sleeping rough on the streets of Dublin".
He added: "It's both moving and amusing, a story of more lows than highs, including heart-breaking tragedy.
"But there are more laughs than tears ... And it's a story of poverty and struggle, and seeking escape in the bottle - a slippery slope that leads to alcoholism and homeslessness".
