'The Syndicate' stage adaptation is a thought-provoking tale

A new stage adaptation of the hit BBC TV drama The Syndicate concludes its inaugural UK tour this week with a visit to Cardiff.

Our companion hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was invited to review it on opening night (Tuesday 23 July) at the city's New Theatre.

Written by BAFTA-winner, the late Kay Mellor, it stars her daughter Gaynor Faye, who also makes her debut as director.

Reviewer Andy Weltch described it as "

a thought-provoking tale with laughs and tears along the way".
