Torquay Women progress in FA Cup

Torquay United Women have progressed to the first round proper of the FA Cup with a 3-2 win over Southampton at Plainmoor yesterday (Sunday 5 October).

United, carrying the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, went behind early in the first half, but Roxy Thomas equalised after the break, and Emily Elliot then put the Gulls ahead.

Southampton scored again to level the scores, but with just seconds left, Jas Barker hit the winner to send United through.
