Torquay women win again

Torquay United Women continued their winning ways yesterday (Sunday 22 February) with a 3-2 win at Gloucester City.

Playing with the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, the Gulls are pushing for promotion from the South West Women's Regional League Premier Division.

Yesterday, they unexpectedly went behind in the eighth minute through a Sachi Kaneko-Grun goal, before Chloe Pengelly equalised from the penalty spot in the 13th minute.

Chloe scored two more in the second half to complete her hat-trick, before Georgia Vandries pulled one back for Gloucester with 12 minutes left.
