Senior firefighters sharpened their media skills this week in our latest hands-on training session.

The day-long workshop, hosted yesterday (Wednesday 21 October) by Mariclare Carey-Jones and our Andy Weltch, covered crisis communication, social media, and working effectively with the service's communications team.

Delegates faced realistic press, radio, and TV interview simulations, followed by constructive feedback and discussion.

The firefighters praised the training as engaging and valuable, and said it boosted their confidence for future real-world media encounters.

This was the fourth session in an ongoing training series which we're delivering over the coming months.

We've been running media training for well over a decade and can adapt these sessions to suit any client, online or in-person. We also offer more advanced training with a developing crisis or other scenario.

We aim to make our training affordable, useful, and fun. See what others have said, and check out this little video.

We also offer copywriting and newswriting training online or in-person to help you and your team improve your website, blogs or publications.
