United win another five-goal thriller

Torquay United Women secured another three league points with a 3-2 win over Pucklechurch at Plainmoor yesterday (Sunday 12 October).

For United, carrying the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, it was the second 3-2 in successive weeks, after beating Southampton by the same score in the FA Cup seven days earlier.

Torquay's scorers yesterday were Roxy Thomas, Emily Elliott, and Lucy Palmer.

Torquay's women are competing in the South West Women's Regional League Premier Division this season, the fifth tier of women's soccer in England, and aiming for promotion back to the FA National League.
