We're on track for the Rebels' biggest race

We're thrilled to announce that Weltch Media is teaming up with Mendips Raceway to present the biggest race on the Rebels Racing calendar.

The Weltch Media World-Wide Rebellion 2026 will take place on Saturday 19 September at the quarter-mile raceway, high in the Somerset hills, bringing together the top drivers from this popular series.

Rebels are small-scale retro-style stock cars, which have entertained crowds on short oval tracks around the UK and mainland Europe for more than 30 years.

The cars are single-seat racers, built to withstand the contact that comes with close racing on tight tracks, with lightweight body shells modelled on a 5/8-scale replica of the classic Ford Popular.

This year's Rebellion - effectively the formula's world championship finale - will be the first ever held in South West England.

Rebels founder Hans Kirimaa said: "We're very pleased to have Weltch Media on board. They have an impressive track record in publicity and communications for motorsport and are ideal partners for our biggest race of the year."

Indeed, this partnership is the latest chapter in our long-time involvement in motorsport, which has included working on publicity and promotional campaigns for promoters and drivers over many years.

In the past, we have worked with Legends Car drivers in both the UK and Irish Championships, as well as with Mendips Raceway to publicise the Formula 2 Stock Car World Championship final.

In recent years, we've teamed up with national hot rod racer, Mark Shelper, in his races around the UK, and with race-winning teams in international sim-racing.

We'll be sharing more news about the Weltch Media World-Wide Rebellion 2026 over the coming months.
