Women are through to semi final

Torquay United Women, wearing the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, are through to the semi-finals of the Devon County Cup, after a 6-0 away win over Plympton in yesterday's (Sunday 16 November) quarter-final.

Goals came from Mollie Taylor (2), Tee Kaptein (2), Matilda Franchi, and Emily Elliot.

The decisive win follows another big score in the previous round, when Ryan Perks's team won 7-0 at Tiverton.

So, United move to the final four of the county competition (now known as the Red Rock Electrical Women’s Premier Cup), which they memorably won in 2022, defying the odds to defeat Exeter City in a thrilling final.
