Today we can reveal more background art for our upcoming animated short film A Fish Out of Water.
The artwork by our illustrator Anthony Richards shows the harbour in a small West Country fishing port, where our protagonist Henry Godliman (voiced by Robert Daws) arrives from the city, feeling very out of place.
Anthony has also produced a timelapse video to show how he developed the setting, which includes a phenomenal level of detail.

Last month, we revealed Anthony's background art for The Wild Rover beer house, and In the summer, we shared his artwork for four of the film's main characters - Henry Godliman, Lizzie Shepherd (voiced by Francesca Louise White), Joseph Carhart (Richard Oliver), and Sarah Babb (Samantha Hudson).
The illustrations will be brought to life by animator and director Matthew Creed.
A Fish Out of Water is described as 'a Victorian tale of the fantastical and bizarre' and is set in an alternative version of the 1890s.
The script, by Andy Weltch and Robert Lancey from Andy's original story, has already been selected in two international competitions, and you can find more about it on the film's IMDb page.
