Big screenings for our little film
Our new animated short film A Fish Out of Water is lined up for some big-screen shows in the coming months.

The historical fantasy film, produced by Weltch Media and directed by Matthew Creed, is due to be screened as part of the Bluescreen night of short films at The Cube in Bristol on Wednesday 25 November. Tickets are limited, but are available here.
It's also on the bill at Hawkchurch Film Nights, near Axminster, Devon, on Monday 14 December, as a curtain-raiser to the feature film Midwinter Break, starring Lesley Manville.
When released, tickets will be available here.
Another film club in Devon plans to include the film in its first dedicated short-film show, including a Q&A, to be arranged in the New Year, while others around the country are keen to show it and are looking to confirm dates.
Set in an alternative version of the 1890s, A Fish Out of Water follows Henry Goldliman (voiced by Robert Daws), a 'chronicler of the extraordinary', who arrives in a small coastal town to hear the stories of three sailors, just back from a long voyage. What he hears may change his life!
You can find out more and watch the trailer on the film's IMDb page.
It had its first screening at an event for cast, crew and supporters, at Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff in the summer and was later selected for Chapter's MovieMaker night. It was also a finalist at Horsham Film Festival in Sussex. If you run a film club or community cinema and might be interested in screening our film for free, please get in touch.
