We helped senior firefighters boost their media and communication skills today (Wednesday 28 October) during our latest hands-on training workshop.

The day-long session for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was again led by Mariclare Carey-Jones alongside our Andy Weltch.

It covered crisis communication, social media, and the role of the service's internal communications team, as well as preparing participants for media interviews.

We then put the firefighters through realistic press, radio, and television interview simulations before a round-up discussion and constructive feedback.

Participants praised the workshop for boosting their confidence for real-world media scenarios.

This marks the fifth session in an ongoing training series scheduled to continue over the coming months.

We've been running media training for well over a decade and can adapt these sessions to suit any client, online or in-person. We also offer more advanced training with a developing crisis or other scenario.

We aim to make our training affordable, useful, and fun. See what others have said, and check out this little video.

We also offer copywriting and newswriting training online or in-person to help you and your team improve your website, blogs or publications.
