Debut novel features teen pirate from Wales

A debut novel about a teenage pirate from south Wales in the 18th century has been featured in our companion arts and entertainment blog, Piece of Pink Pie. Shadow of a Pirate by Kit Swift, has received great reviews and was even shortlisted for the Firefly Fiction Competition Wales 2022. Aimed at teens and young adults, it pits 18-year-old Gwen Morgan from Swansea against a murderous Spanish captain as she sails the Caribbean in search of a hidden treasure - and revenge.
