A new Olivier Award-winning production of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof is nearing the end of its UK and Ireland tour.
Our award-winning local news site Rhiwbina Info was at the New Theatre in Cardiff this week (Tuesday 18 November) to see the opening night of its run in the city.

A packed audience responded with a standing ovation for a show which reviewer Andy Weltch described as "a truly superb production of one of the all-time greatest musicals".
He added: "It's often uplifting and joyful - a celebration of the bonds of community and love. But it's also about the conflict between tradition and change, the struggle of choosing what's best for one's children, and the horrors of racist violence".
The show is in Cardiff until Saturday. It then moves on to Sunderland and Birmingham.
