Torquay United's women moved closer to promotion with an 8-0 win at Saltash last night (Thursday 16 April).

Playing with the Weltch Media logo on their shorts, the Gulls are pushing for a place in the FA National League by finishing top of the South West Women's Regional League Premier Division, the fifth tier of the English game.

United's scorers last night were Beth Everson (2), Connie Pengelly (2), Kaitlyn Bell, Jas Barker, Georgie Knott, and an own goal.

The win moves Torquay closer to the title, but it's not yet guaranteed. And only the league champions move up.

As well as being this season's shorts sponsor, we have been long-time sponsors of Danni Wyatt (who's currently sidelined with injury), dating back to the 2017/18 season.

Weltch Media has extensive experience across the sports industry, having worked with national governing bodies in cricket, tennis, swimming, and canoeing; golf organisations ranging from local clubs to professional tours and the Ryder Cup; and motorsport drivers, teams and promoters.

In December we announced a new partnership with Pro Shaw's Coaching and you can see us on the new coaching jackets. Last month, we shared the news that we're teaming up with Mendips Raceway and Rebels Racing to present one of the year's major championships.
