University marketers log on for more of our writing insights

We logged in again this week to share our content-writing know-how with another group of marketing and comms professionals at the University of Leicester.


It was the second of two half-day online workshops the university invited us to run, after the success of similar sessions we’ve delivered at campuses across the UK.

Senior consultant Andrew Weltch again joined with experienced writer, and long-time Weltch Media collaborator, Victoria Trott to lead the training.


They took participants through everything from tackling the dreaded blank page to tailoring content for different audiences, crafting persuasive copy, and weighing up the perks (and possible pitfalls) of AI.


The group’s response was again enthusiastic. One attendee summed it up neatly: “Thank you very much! Really insightful session.”


That followed last week’s glowing comments, which included: “Really great session – thank you!”, “Some great tips and takeaways”, and “Thank you so much for your expertise!”
