If you’ve ever (or never) wondered why lawyers should be thinking more about vampires, a new book could be just right for you!

The Criminal in Gothic Fiction and Contemporary Law is a monograph by Barbara Hughes-Moore (pictured), lecturer in Cardiff Law School, poet, theatre reviewer, and more.
A new post on our associated arts and entertainment blog Piece of Pink Pie features an interview with Barbara, exploring the concept of ‘the guilty mind’ and the problems and dilemmas it creates in law from the 19th century to now.
It's a fascinating read, which includes references to Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, Oscar Wilde, and Arthur Conan Doyle.
