Our Andy Weltch is gearing up to run the Cardiff Half Marathon to help the fight against homelessness and poor housing.
Andy has secured a place in the 13.1-mile run around the Welsh capital city for Shelter Cymru, the charity of which he was a trustee for many years.

"The Cardiff Half is one of the biggest road races in the UK," said Andy. "So, it's an exciting event to be part of and a great opportunity to showcase the important work of Shelter Cymru - and hopefully raise some funds too.
"Despite my age and my flat feet, I have managed to complete the Cardiff Half a few times - but it doesn't get any easier!"
Shelter Cymru helps thousands of people each year with free, confidential and independent housing advice but is in need of more money to maintain its vital services to those hit hardest by the housing crisis.
If you would like to help or find out more, Andy's fundraising page is here.
The Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 3 October, starting at Cardiff Castle and finishing in nearby Cathays Park. It's a huge event for spectators and participants, with more than 24,000 finishers last year.
