An award-winning supernatural drama from the pen of Uncanny podcaster Danny Robins opened in Cardiff this week as part of a UK tour, and our hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was at the New Theatre to review it.

2:22 A Ghost Story tells the story of new parents Jenny (Shvorne Marks) and Sam (James Bye) whose house seems be haunted. How else can they explain strange sounds in their baby's bedroom at 2:22 each night?
Have their 'improvements' to the old house angered the spirit of its former owner? It's agreed - they and their dinner guests will all stay up until 2:22 to find out.
Reviewer Andy Weltch wrote: "Sometimes funny, sometimes thought-provoking, and often scary, 2:22 A Ghost Story is among the most satisfying (by which I mean frightening!) supernatural plays I've ever seen". He added: "The excellent cast ... deliver highly convincing performances, as the increasingly stressful situation puts new strains on relationships".
2:22 is in Cardiff until Saturday (21 February), when the tour moves to Oxford.
