Our production team has got together for an update on progress on our animated short film, A Fish Out of Water.
With the film now in its final stages of post-production, the crew met online yesterday (Wednesday) for a catch-up.

Director and head of animation, Matthew Creed is fine-tuning the lighting and shadows, while designer and illustrator Anthony Richards develops the final piece of artwork for an important scene.
Composer and sound designer, Charlie Diggle, explained how he is refining some of the sound effects and awaiting the final piece of music, while computer graphics (CG) animator, Stephen Thomas walked through his work on a key scene using 3D CG.
Producer and co-writer Andy Weltch said: "It's exciting to see all these elements come together, and we're all looking forward to seeing the completed film, hopefully within the next couple of months".
Described as 'a Victorian tale of the fantastical and bizarre' and set in an alternative version of the 1890s, A Fish Out of Water is Weltch Media’s first venture into animation.
It is directed by Matthew from a screenplay by Andy with Robert Lancey, based on Andy’s story,
The cast is led by Robert Daws, with Francesca Louise White, Richard Oliver, and Samantha Hudson.
The script has already been selected in two international competitions, and you can find more about it on the film's IMDb page. You can also watch the teaser trailer here.
