The all-new website for a major London university has now gone live - thanks to content which we helped create. City, University of London has launched its new site after Weltch Media and our colleagues EMPRA spent much of last year working with the university's web team to produce the new pages. We teamed up with EMPRA to win the project in a competitive process in late 2019, and it became our biggest project of 2020. Our team of talented writers and project manager Andrew Weltch, our senior consultant, worked from their home bases – stretching from Swansea to Hampshire to Newcastle – throughout the UK's various national and local lockdowns of the covid-19 crisis.

When our work was completed late in 2020, City’s website manager Jack Lewis said:
City, University of London was founded in 1894 as the Northampton Institute on its present site at the heart of London, close to the financial hub in the Square Mile. With a focus on business and the professions, it attracts some 20,000 students (46% at postgraduate level) from more than 160 countries. We have previously helped deliver similar large-scale web projects for universities, including Southampton, Cardiff, and Swansea. The Swansea project in 2019 won silver in the best website category at the Heist education marketing awards and gold in the AVA digital awards.
