Women grab vital point in promotion clash

Torquay United women, with our logo on their shorts, maintained their unbeaten record with a hard-fought draw against promotion-chasing rivals Forest Green Rovers yesterday (Sunday 22 March).

Torquay were behind at half-time, but a late equaliser from Tee Kaptein earned the all-important point.

The Gulls are pushing for a place in the FA National League by gaining promotion from the South West Women's Regional League Premier Division, the fifth tier of the English game.
