A new weekend Forest School is launching in London, offering children ways to learn and develop in a natural environment.

Greenways Forest School in Hackney will run weekly sessions on Saturday mornings in Wick Woodland from June 12th, offering a range of experiences and adventures for children to enjoy.

The highly experienced team will help the children to build on the skills they learn each week.

Activities like science experiments, bushcraft, and games, will help them learn more about the world around us and about themselves, and help their brains development holistically.

Greenways Forest School is run by Rich Weltch, a former research consultant at Weltch Media. He said: “As an engineering graduate, I’ve always been excited by the idea of using natural resources to make, create, and build. It’s long been a mission of mine to help bring nature back to the children of London, and help them connect with the forest spaces we have on our doorstep.

“I’ve been working with children of all ages across London for nearly 10 years, have designed the Forest School curriculum in a number of settings, and no two days have ever been the same!”
